Pico del Veleta

The highest paved road in Europe offers cyclists the opportunity to conquer the third highest peak in Spain. With its breathtaking ascent reaching 2430m, riders will experience a dramatic change in weather, transitioning from warm sunshine to freezing temperatures as they pedal through the thin air. This challenging adventure is a must-do for any cyclist’s bucket list.Starting from the end of April until the end of October, we organize weekly excursions to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Our minibus will pick you up from a designated location and transport you to the foot hills of this majestic range, which is approximately a 1.30-hour drive from Torre del Mar.

La Ruta del Jamon (The Ham Route)

The Alpujarras region spans 70 kilometers and consists of valleys and gorges located on the southern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Granada. With its picturesque snow-capped mountains serving as a backdrop, this area offers numerous challenging uphill climbs and breathtaking downhill descents, all amidst some of the most awe-inspiring mountain landscapes that Spain has to offer.

Our journey will encompass a 116-kilometer loop through the magnificent Lecrin Valley. Along the way, we will make a stop in the village of Trevelez, which stands at an impressive altitude of 1460 meters, making it one of the highest villages in Spain. This village is the perfect spot to indulge in the tantalizing flavors of air-dried cured ham, a true culinary delight.
